The honest version: this platform collects the minimum it needs to run courses and issue certificates, sells nothing to anyone, and tracks you for exactly zero advertisers. Details below.

WHAT'S COLLECTED

Name and email — from Google sign-in when you create your account.
Purchase records — payments are handled by Stripe, and card numbers never touch our servers. We keep the record of what you bought and when.
Exam submissions — your answers, uploaded practical files, and (Director tier) the link to your teaching video.
Lesson progress — stored in your own browser (localStorage), not on our servers.
Basic error logs — when something breaks, so it can get fixed.

HOW IT'S USED

Running the platform — signing you in, showing your course, keeping your place.
Grading your exams — including human review of short answers, practicals, and teaching videos.
Emailing you — results and receipts, sent via Resend. No marketing blasts you didn't ask for.
Public certificate verification — your verify page shows your first name, credential, and issue date only. Nothing else about you is public.

WHAT'S NEVER DONE

No selling your data. Not to anyone, not ever.
No ad tracking. No pixels, no retargeting, no ad networks.
No third-party analytics. No Google Analytics, no behavior trackers.

THE AI NOTE

Short-answer exam responses are processed by an AI service (OpenAI) to suggest grades. "Suggest" is the operative word: a human makes every final grading decision. The AI speeds up the first pass — it never gets the last word on your certification.

RETENTION & DELETION

Account, purchase, and certification records are kept for as long as your credential needs to stay verifiable. Want your data deleted? Email hello@propresentercert.com and it will be handled — just know that deleting your account also removes your certificate from public verification.

COOKIES

Only what sign-in requires: a session token stored in your browser's localStorage keeps you logged in. That's it — no tracking cookies. Clearing your browser data signs you out (and clears your locally-stored lesson progress too).

THIRD PARTIES

Five services help run the platform. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job:

Google sign-in
Stripe payments — your card details live with them, not us
Resend transactional email (results, receipts)
Vercel hosting
OpenAI grading suggestions on short answers

CHANGES & QUESTIONS
